Ah, well, I know I haven't been very active here, this heat is killing me D: But here I come to redeem myself with some WIP pictures ;D They're Igorina, the Discworld Igor girl, and Aly, the burton-esque plant girl!! Enjoy ;)

A new kind of doll

At least, for me! I've been toying with the idea of making poseable art dolls for a couple of days now... And yesterday night I finally jumped in. I searched on the webs for tutorials, and after seeing two or three, I decided my course of action, and just started making one! I'm really excited about her, but I still haven't decided a name... She's not the epitome of the poseable dolls, certainly, but she can move her arms and legs, sit, cross the legs, and move her head side to side, or that's what I'm hoping :P I still have to cover her with thread, but I think she's looking rad so far! Now I've got to go back to my commissions, but I leave you with this pic ;)

Icy Rescue: The Monster Girl Part I

So, I've just finished uploading the video! I hope you all like it :)

I got this baity girl from Shepuppy, who had her forgotten somewhere, in a trade. I traded her for my super, duper, horribly baity Minerva! I still feel like I ripped her off a bit : P Anyway! I got this girl already in pieces, hence why this video lacks the opening up part :) I hope that you still enjoy it! My phone batteries (that's my super new camera, yeah, the phone!) died mid-video, so I only got to record part of the process... Anyway I hope it's enough to show you a little bit of how I work!

Soon I'll make some more videos on this girl, about the sanding (after carving sanding, that is) and giving faceup :) Stay tuned!!

Hi there!

This is my first entry on this blog, as you can probably see ; D

I give you all a warm welcome to this, my space about dollies and art! I hope that you enjoy your time here. You can expect a lot of WIPs and tutorials!! Please, feel free to ask me as many questions as you'd like ;) I don't bite!

I wanted to start this blog introducing you to one of my latest projects, the Monster Girl. She is a bait Icy that I'm rescuing, and you'll be able to follow her whole process through video :) I hope that those videos teach you a lot!! Anyway, here is she, all carved ;)

As you can see, I've still got some work left! I've got a few (HA!) commissions left this month, but I hope I can continue working on her little by little ;)
