Viv, the Little Batpire - Finally!

Hey!!! It's officially Halloween here, so I'm finally releasing her pics! Happy Halloween everyone, and I hope you like this little cutie ;)

She is a TBL custom with Icy scalp. She has carved fangs, phyltum nose and tearducts. She has sleepy eyes and some great pullrings (of which I'll take pics tomorrow, hopefully!)

She will travel with her coffin, stand, and pumpkin, and, of course, with her outfit. Send me and e-mail if you are interested!

Revisiting Minerva: Viv!

Hey guys! Remember Minerva, the little vampire that I did a while ago? Well, she was traded and went abroad, to the USA. I was never quite happy with how she came out: she was super baity (because she'd been with me forever, she was my second, fifth, and some more number-th custom!) and I couldn't do exactly what I wanted with her. Anyway, I decided that, given that Halloween was soooo close, this was the perfect time to re-visit the concept - also, she is part of a little secret project, related with a dolly magazine, but shhhh! I didn't say anything ;) - and that's exactly what I did! Here you have a couple of pics of her faceup, soon I'll upload pics of her with her finished outfit and all, so, stay tuned!

Sneak Peaks....

I know, it's been forever since I last updated this! But I've got something good for y'all ;) Two sneak peaks! Unfortunately the school hasn't been exactly a breeze, so I haven't had time for so much more. If I'm lucky, in my next entry I will tell you something a little bigger that I'm trying to get into!!

This girl is for Addie Beckwith, also known as boodotcat on Blythe Kingdom, if I'm not mistaken ;) She wanted a freckled, very sunny girl, with a stormy side! I think I delivered :P

So yes, I'm finally getting close to finishing my commissions! I've still got a bunch of work waiting, but I think these ladies will be finished today... maybe lids and all! ;) Aly (the plant girl) is lacking only her eyelids and some gloss, while Igorina (the girl with the Frankie look!) and Kiki (the orange one) are lacking both some more shading and the linework, and also their lids. I've still got a whole girl to do (leloo's! I'll start with her as soon as I'm done with Sabrina's (this girls plus Puck, the fairy) and Addie's (a nice summery girl ;D)), but I'm getting close to my holidays!!

Ah, well, I know I haven't been very active here, this heat is killing me D: But here I come to redeem myself with some WIP pictures ;D They're Igorina, the Discworld Igor girl, and Aly, the burton-esque plant girl!! Enjoy ;)

A new kind of doll

At least, for me! I've been toying with the idea of making poseable art dolls for a couple of days now... And yesterday night I finally jumped in. I searched on the webs for tutorials, and after seeing two or three, I decided my course of action, and just started making one! I'm really excited about her, but I still haven't decided a name... She's not the epitome of the poseable dolls, certainly, but she can move her arms and legs, sit, cross the legs, and move her head side to side, or that's what I'm hoping :P I still have to cover her with thread, but I think she's looking rad so far! Now I've got to go back to my commissions, but I leave you with this pic ;)

Icy Rescue: The Monster Girl Part I

So, I've just finished uploading the video! I hope you all like it :)

I got this baity girl from Shepuppy, who had her forgotten somewhere, in a trade. I traded her for my super, duper, horribly baity Minerva! I still feel like I ripped her off a bit : P Anyway! I got this girl already in pieces, hence why this video lacks the opening up part :) I hope that you still enjoy it! My phone batteries (that's my super new camera, yeah, the phone!) died mid-video, so I only got to record part of the process... Anyway I hope it's enough to show you a little bit of how I work!

Soon I'll make some more videos on this girl, about the sanding (after carving sanding, that is) and giving faceup :) Stay tuned!!

This is my first entry on this blog, as you can probably see ; D

I give you all a warm welcome to this, my space about dollies and art! I hope that you enjoy your time here. You can expect a lot of WIPs and tutorials!! Please, feel free to ask me as many questions as you'd like ;) I don't bite!

I wanted to start this blog introducing you to one of my latest projects, the Monster Girl. She is a bait Icy that I'm rescuing, and you'll be able to follow her whole process through video :) I hope that those videos teach you a lot!! Anyway, here is she, all carved ;)

As you can see, I've still got some work left! I've got a few (HA!) commissions left this month, but I hope I can continue working on her little by little ;)
